The world is changing and Montessori can be applied to the changing universe. Let’s come together to find solutions to live in peace with ourselves, one another, and our planet Earth.
Connect to Simone and Amukta and a cohort of participants and experts to explore and discover pathways to reflect on Montessori ideas, principles and practices and how we expand Montessori to apply to our life and work.
So many of us missed out on Montessori as children. But it's never too late to become a Montessori adult.
Do you sometimes wonder what it would be like if you'd been raised in a Montessori way?
If you could foster peace and shanti into relationships at work and in our daily lives?
Can we have conversations in a Montessori way with our children, partners, neighbours, bosses, employees, family, friends?
Is it time for us to expand ourselves? To all aspects of our lives?
Our hope is that every adult be transformed by Montessori
Simone and Amukta have a combined experience in Montessori of over 70 years.
After all this time working in Montessori, they don't just bring this to the children and families they work with. They apply the principles every day. In their own development, with those in their lives, and with everyone they meet.
No matter how you were raised, we believe that everyone can learn to apply these principles.
To bring you more joy, connection, peace, and to make a difference in the world.
We will be your guides to help you to become a Montessori adult too.
Expanding as adults with Montessori
This course is for those that want to try out Montessori principles in a safe learning community of like-minded people.
Each week we will explore a new theme together.
The course includes:
- Every week, a 1.5-hour live discussion with Amukta and Simone (all calls will be recorded if you can't attend live)
- A resource library with readings and interviews with expert guests
- A WhatsApp group for additional sharing
- 12 themes over 12 weeks to explore and practice
Our hope is that you finish the course integrating more Montessori principles into the fabric of your life.
This time it's not only a course about your children, although they are sure to benefit from your work too.

What the workshop covers
Over 12-weeks together, we will investigate how we can become Montessori adults exploring the following ideas:
-
Democratic education - how applying Montessori principles can offer an alternative to the structures and systems in our life
-
Observation - to expand our knowledge of others and ourselves (our strengths, judgements, and areas for development)
-
Autonomy and community - living with ourselves and others
-
Curiosity as adults - how we sense the world, how that leads to abstraction and cognition, not outsourcing our intelligence, while exploring when is tech useful
-
Nonviolent communication - a tool to understand the needs of ourselves and others
-
Using Montessori principles as adults - eg, grace and courtesy, the prepared environment, cosmic education
-
Peace within and with others - exploring peace education as an adult
The topics will be explored in community, by ourselves, in conversation with the cohort, and in silence.
To deepen our knowledge of ourselves. And expand Montessori to all aspects of our human development as adults.
