Montessori for Adolescents
It's time to see teenagers in a new way! Montessori offers such a beautiful lens for understanding what our adolescents need from us. In this workshop, Tony Evans (founder of Dundas Montessori School and Strata Montessori) and Marzieh Darling-Donnelly (graduate of Strata Montessori) will explore who the Montessori adolescent is, from their search for purpose and belonging to their growing need for independence and meaningful work. We'll look at practical ways to bring these principles into everyday life at home, whether or not your teen attends a Montessori school. This workshop is for parents and educators who want to better understand the young people in their lives and support them with respect and connection. You'll leave with fresh ideas, a deeper understanding of this stage, some practical tools to try straight away, and a whole lot of inspiration.
